Welcome to the official web site for the MSCMEA, or the Mississippi Coroner and Medical Examiners Association. We are a not for profit organization, established to support and promote the professionalism of Coroners, Deputy Coroners, and Medical Examiners here in the Magnolia State. We do this through education and training seminars, and the provision of resources to assist in medicolegal death investigations. Additionally, the MSCMEA develops strategies to help prevent the loss of life, and provides support to each CMEI when requested, to aid in the timely resolution of death investigations.
Our mission is accomplished with the support and assistance of a number of associate members. These organizations, comprised of both federal and state agencies, businesses, and private citizens, have all joined with the MSCMEA to provide additional resources necessary to complete what can be a very difficult, but vital task for the citizens of the counties we serve. Whether you are a member of the MSCMEA, or just a visitor to our site, we do hope you find your visit to our site beneficial.
